The Right Dose Makes a Difference.
The Patient Centered Dosing Initiative (PCDI) is a patient-led nonprofit working to bring real-life experience into cancer treatment decisions. We’re advocating for a future where effectiveness and quality of life go hand in hand.
We therefore call into question the practice of repeatedly treating us with the highest possible dosage that causes the most challenging side effects — especially since we will repeatedly endure the most toxic dose at the beginning of each new regimen.
Improving Lives Through Evidence and Advocacy
Research: We collect and share data about patient experiences with dosing.
Tools: We create resources that help patients and doctors talk about dose.
Advocacy: We raise awareness among researchers, clinicians, and policymakers.
